02 The problem

You play to a room. You post to a feed. By Monday you've lost most of the room.

On Instagram, an account with 1,000 to 50,000 followers reaches fewer than 1 in 15 of them with a post. That's from 872,075 brand posts (Socialinsider, Sept 2026). Nobody has measured it for DJs.

03 The list

Followers are rented. The list is yours.

Instagram decides who sees your post. A platform can change its rules, or close overnight. In June 2026 Juno Download shut without warning, and every buy link pointing at it stopped working.

A sign-up form on your own site sends the next release, gig or ticket drop straight to the people who asked for it. No algorithm in the way.

Your site doesn't replace SoundCloud or Twitch. It's the desk they all plug into, and the one channel no platform's moderation can switch off.

Go live, and your site goes live with you.

When you stream on Twitch, the stream plays on your own page, with the chat beside it on a laptop, so the link you share is yours. Soon your list gets a "going live" email too. Twitch only tells the followers its algorithm picks; an email reaches everyone who signed up.
